👥Biography 个人简介

Howard Chang at Stanford has made foundational contributions to understanding long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in cancer — including discovering that HOTAIR lncRNA promotes cancer invasion by remodeling the PRC2 epigenome, and developing ATAC-seq for profiling chromatin accessibility at scale. His work has revealed how lncRNAs coordinate epigenetic programs in cancer and development, and ATAC-seq has become a standard tool for epigenomic profiling of tumors and immune cells.
