Peter Higgins directs the IBD program at Michigan and has contributed to work on ulcerative colitis natural history, dysplasia risk stratification, and biomarkers for colitis associated cancer. He develops clinical tools for IBD risk prediction and cancer surveillance pathways. He is active in multicenter IBD research networks.
