Professor of Neurological Surgery and Helen Diller Chair in Neuro-Oncology
👥Biography 个人简介
Hideho Okada has pioneered cancer vaccine approaches targeting GBM-specific antigens and personalized neoantigen immunotherapy. His research developed and clinically evaluated peptide vaccines targeting EGFRvIII and other GBM-associated antigens, providing foundational clinical data on vaccine immunogenicity in GBM patients. He has advanced personalized neoantigen vaccine strategies for GBM using tumor genomic sequencing to identify patient-specific mutational neoantigens for custom vaccine design. His work on overcoming the immunosuppressive GBM microenvironment through vaccine combination with checkpoint blockade and regulatory T cell depletion has advanced translational GBM immunotherapy.
