👥Biography 个人简介

Hidde Ploegh has made foundational contributions to MHC biology and antigen presentation, including elucidating MHC class I and II biosynthesis pathways and developing nanobody (VHH) technologies for cancer immunotherapy. His work on viral immune evasion mechanisms revealed how pathogens and tumors can degrade MHC molecules to escape T cell recognition. His nanobody platform has enabled novel cancer imaging and therapeutic approaches targeting the tumor immune microenvironment.
