Helen Mackay is a medical oncologist at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre with expertise in rare and aggressive gynecologic malignancies including endometrial and ovarian carcinosarcoma. She has led clinical investigations into checkpoint inhibitor therapy for carcinosarcoma, contributed to analyses of the molecular drivers of carcinosarcoma transformation, and participates in CCTG (Canadian Cancer Trials Group) gynecologic oncology committees. Her translational research has examined PI3K pathway activation in clear cell gynecologic histologies and the basis for differential immunotherapy responses.
