Helen Bhatt

Helen Bhatt focuses on the clinical translation of CIN biology into novel therapeutic strategies, evaluating mitotic kinase inhibitors and other approaches in CIN-high tumors. Her research has conducted biomarker analyses of CIN in clinical tumor samples and correlated CIN levels with sensitivity to microtubule-targeting agents and mitotic kinase inhibitors including PLK1 and Aurora kinase inhibitors. She is leading clinical trials of CIN-targeted agents in CIN-high solid tumors stratified by CIN measurement as a prospective biomarker. Her work bridges CIN cell biology with clinical oncology practice.
