Dr. Heather Wakelee is chief of medical oncology at Stanford and a lead investigator in perioperative NSCLC trials. She was a principal investigator of IMpower010, which established atezolizumab as an adjuvant option for resected PD-L1-positive NSCLC. Her research has advanced understanding of optimal sequencing of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted agents in the perioperative setting for lung cancer.
