Hassane Zarour

Hassane Zarour is a translational tumor immunologist who has characterized co-expression of TIM-3 and LAG-3 on exhausted tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes in human cancers, providing evidence for rationale of dual blockade. His clinical and translational research has evaluated anti-LAG-3 monotherapy and combinations in solid tumors and has investigated the quality of tumor antigen-specific T cell responses. He is a principal investigator on combination checkpoint inhibitor trials and has contributed to understanding T cell reinvigoration kinetics after immune checkpoint therapy.
