Hassan Bhatt is a leading expert in mesothelin-targeted CAR-T cell therapy for solid tumors. His research focuses on overcoming the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in mesothelin-expressing cancers including mesothelioma and ovarian cancer. He has developed novel CAR constructs with enhanced tumor penetration and persistence. His clinical trials have demonstrated early efficacy signals for mesothelin CAR-T in pleural and peritoneal malignancies.
