👥Biography 个人简介

Harold Moses is a pioneer in TGF-beta signaling in cancer who has contributed over four decades of research on how transforming growth factor beta regulates cancer-associated fibroblasts and the tumor microenvironment. His foundational work demonstrated TGF-beta's paradoxical roles as both a tumor suppressor in early cancer stages and a promoter of invasion and immune evasion in advanced cancer. He established that TGF-beta from cancer-associated fibroblasts drives desmoplastic stroma that limits drug penetration. His research has inspired therapeutic programs targeting TGF-beta in cancer.
