James Gulley

James Gulley leads clinical trials of adoptive cell therapy and immunotherapy combinations for solid tumors at the National Cancer Institute, with particular expertise in genitourinary malignancies. His work on combining TCR-T cell therapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors and cancer vaccines has informed strategies for overcoming the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment in solid tumors. He has conducted pivotal clinical studies demonstrating the feasibility and safety of TCR-engineered T cells in heavily pretreated solid tumor patients.
