Amitabh Gulati has advanced image-guided interventional pain techniques at Memorial Sloan Kettering, developing ultrasound and CT-guided approaches for nerve blocks and neurolytic procedures that improve precision and safety in cancer pain management. His work on peripheral nerve catheter techniques for cancer-related limb pain has provided alternatives to systemic opioid escalation. He leads research on integrating interventional pain management with cancer rehabilitation programs.
