Grant McArthur at Peter Mac led and contributed to the BRIM-3 and BRIM-7 trials that established vemurafenib alone and in combination with cobimetinib as standards in BRAF V600-mutated melanoma. His research on mechanisms of acquired BRAF inhibitor resistance and strategies to overcome it — including re-challenge and combination approaches — has advanced understanding and management of resistance in melanoma.
