Giuseppe Curigliano

Giuseppe Curigliano is a leading European breast oncologist who has made major contributions to understanding the biological basis of HER2-low breast cancer, including studies on intra-tumor heterogeneity of HER2 expression and scoring reproducibility challenges. He led investigations into HER2-low incidence within hormone receptor-positive and triple-negative breast cancer subtypes and has been a principal investigator on multiple DESTINY-Breast program trials. He is Deputy Director of the European Institute of Oncology and a frequent ASCO and ESMO faculty member.
