Gini Fleming

Gini Fleming is a long-standing GOG endometrial cancer investigator who helped establish carboplatin plus paclitaxel as the standard first-line chemotherapy for advanced endometrial cancer through the GOG 209 trial, which showed equivalence with cisplatin-based regimens with improved tolerability. She has led multiple clinical trials evaluating mTOR inhibitors, hormonal therapy, and novel agents in endometrial cancer. Her research has defined multiple evidence-based options for recurrent endometrial cancer and informed GOG and NCCN treatment guidelines across multiple cycles of update.
