George Canellos is one of the most influential figures in the history of lymphoma medicine, having been instrumental in establishing ABVD as the gold standard for Hodgkin lymphoma and conducting foundational clinical trials in DLBCL, Hodgkin lymphoma, and leukemia. His leadership at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute over five decades helped build one of the world's preeminent lymphoma programs. He trained generations of hematologic oncologists who have shaped the field.
