Georg Lenz

Georg Lenz is a translational hematologist who developed the LymphGen genetic classification of DLBCL, which stratifies DLBCL into genetically distinct subgroups with different biology and therapeutic vulnerabilities. He characterized BCR-NF-kB addiction in ABC DLBCL and the rationale for BTK inhibitors in ABC-subtype patients. His work on double-hit and double-expressor lymphoma has contributed to understanding high-grade B cell lymphoma biology. His comprehensive molecular classification tools are increasingly used to guide clinical trial enrollment and treatment selection in DLBCL.
