Gavin Dunn has advanced understanding of how MHC-restricted neoantigen presentation drives immunosurveillance in brain tumors. His work on glioma immunoediting demonstrated that brain tumors selectively lose immunogenic neoantigens under T cell pressure despite the presumed immune privilege of the CNS. He has developed approaches to enhance neoantigen presentation in immunologically cold brain tumors through combination therapy.
