Luca Gattinoni co-discovered human T memory stem cells and has defined transcriptional and signaling programs that maintain T cell stemness. His work on Wnt beta-catenin signaling in T cells provided a framework for generating less differentiated cell products for immunotherapy. He continues to translate stemness biology into improved adoptive cell therapies.
