Funda Meric-Bernstam

Dr. Funda Meric-Bernstam chairs Investigational Cancer Therapeutics at MD Anderson and has led large-scale precision oncology implementation programs. She directed the IMPACT study demonstrating improved outcomes when patients received matched targeted therapy versus unmatched treatment. Her work on the TAPUR and NCI-MATCH studies has helped quantify the clinical value of molecular tumor board recommendations across diverse tumor types.
