Frank Weber

Frank Weber at the University of Duisburg-Essen is an expert in the surgical and systemic management of pheochromocytoma with contributions to MIBG-based radionuclide therapy. His research has evaluated the AZEDRA trial approach using high-specific-activity iobenguane I-131 for MIBG-avid pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma. He has contributed to surgical resection techniques for complex pheochromocytoma cases and to understanding molecular targets for PRRT in SSTR-expressing paragangliomas. His work integrates surgical, nuclear medicine, and systemic therapy approaches for malignant adrenal medullary tumors.
