Frank Roesch
PhD
Professor of Nuclear Chemistry
👥Biography 个人简介
Frank Roesch has made foundational contributions to the radiochemistry underlying radioligand therapy, particularly in developing production methods for therapeutic radionuclides and chelator systems for stable radiolabeling. He developed Ga-68 generator systems that enabled widespread clinical adoption of Ga-68 PSMA PET imaging. His work on Ac-225 production methods addresses the critical supply limitation that currently restricts alpha-particle radioligand therapy, exploring cyclotron-based and spallation-based production routes. He has developed novel chelators that form kinetically stable complexes with therapeutic radionuclides under physiological conditions, essential for safe radioligand therapy administration. His radiochemistry innovations enable the translation of novel radioligand therapy concepts to clinical practice.
