👥Biography 个人简介

Frank McCormick at UCSF is a legendary RAS biologist who has spent decades advancing understanding of RAS GTPase biology and developing therapeutic strategies to target the RAS pathway. His foundational work on SOS1 as the guanine nucleotide exchange factor activating RAS established SOS1 as a druggable node upstream of KRAS. He contributed to the scientific foundation for BI-3406 and other SOS1 inhibitors being developed in combination with MEK inhibitors and KRAS G12C inhibitors. His comprehensive contributions to RAS biology and therapeutic targeting span four decades and have shaped the entire field.
