Francisco Hernandez-Ilizaliturri focuses on high-risk mantle cell lymphoma variants including blastoid and pleomorphic MCL subtypes, which carry TP53 mutations and exhibit particularly poor prognosis. His research explores mechanisms of treatment resistance in aggressive MCL and novel therapeutic approaches including antibody-drug conjugates and bispecific antibodies. He has published extensively on predictors of outcome in MCL.
