Florian Lordick

Florian Lordick is a gastric and GEJ cancer specialist who contributed to the AIO FLOT4 trial and has been a leading author of ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines for gastric cancer including perioperative and adjuvant therapy recommendations. His research spans perioperative chemotherapy optimization, HER2-targeted therapy, and integration of immunotherapy in resectable gastric cancer. He leads the University Cancer Center Leipzig and participates in multiple European cooperative gastric cancer trials. Lordick has been a key contributor to translating East Asian adjuvant trial data into European treatment frameworks.
