👥Biography 个人简介

Florent Ginhoux has been a pioneer in defining the ontogenetic origins of tumor-associated macrophages, demonstrating that TAMs include both tissue-resident macrophages derived from embryonic precursors and monocyte-derived macrophages with fundamentally different functional programs in the tumor microenvironment. His single-cell analyses have mapped the developmental trajectories and functional states of TAMs across cancer types. He has identified ontogeny-specific macrophage markers that predict immunotherapy response. His work provides essential biological context for rationally targeting specific TAM populations.
