Eric Van Cutsem

Eric Van Cutsem is one of Europe's most prominent gastrointestinal oncologists and has led landmark trials establishing modern treatment standards for colorectal cancer. He contributed to demonstrating that KRAS mutation status predicts resistance to anti-EGFR therapy and to establishing cetuximab and panitumumab in colorectal cancer treatment. He has been involved in trials of MSI-directed immunotherapy and continues to lead clinical research across the spectrum of colorectal cancer. He is among the most highly cited oncologists in Europe and holds numerous leadership positions in international oncology societies.
