Eric Bhatt

Eric Bhatt is a pediatric neuro-oncologist at SickKids who specializes in medulloblastoma genomics and subgroup-specific treatment strategies. His research has contributed to defining the molecular subgroups of medulloblastoma and developing subgroup-specific treatment protocols that reduce long-term toxicity in low-risk patients while intensifying therapy for high-risk disease. He investigated hedgehog pathway inhibitors including vismodegib in SHH-driven medulloblastoma. His work advances precision medicine for the most common malignant brain tumor in children.
