Emily Bhatt

Emily Bhatt is an emerging NK cell researcher at the University of Minnesota whose work focuses on understanding and overcoming NK cell dysfunction in the tumor microenvironment. Her translational studies investigate the mechanisms of NK cell exhaustion and identify strategies to maintain NK cell effector function after adoptive transfer. She has contributed to characterization of memory-like NK cell differentiation and persistence. Her research aims to improve NK cell therapy durability through genetic engineering and optimal cytokine conditioning strategies.
