Emanuela Palmerini

Emanuela Palmerini is an oncologist at the Rizzoli Institute, one of the world's foremost bone tumor centers, specializing in the systemic treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. She has led clinical trials evaluating regorafenib in relapsed Ewing sarcoma (REGOBONE) and osteosarcoma, establishing it as an evidence-based option in relapsed disease. Her research covers histotype-specific treatment, high-dose therapy strategies, and incorporation of emerging targeted agents into multimodal sarcoma management. She contributes to ISG (Italian Sarcoma Group) and international sarcoma network studies.
