Ellen Mardis is a cancer genomics pioneer who co-led the Washington University Genome Center's landmark cancer genome sequencing projects, including the first complete sequencing of a cancer genome (AML). She has contributed to comprehensive genomic characterization of multiple cancer types through TCGA and other initiatives, and now leads pediatric cancer genomics at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
