Elizabeth Swisher identified BRCA reversion mutations as a mechanism of PARP inhibitor resistance and led the biomarker work for ARIEL2 defining the rucaparib HRD LOH signature. Her laboratory continues to characterize homologous recombination repair defects. She runs an active ovarian cancer prevention clinic.
