Eleni Efstathiou

Eleni Efstathiou is a prostate cancer specialist at Houston Methodist with expertise in androgen receptor signaling, neuroendocrine differentiation, and treatment sequencing in mCRPC. Her translational work has contributed to understanding phenotypic plasticity in prostate cancer and mechanisms of lineage switching that underlie treatment resistance. She has participated in multiple AR-targeted therapy trials and studies of novel combinations for enzalutamide-resistant mCRPC. Her research bridges molecular biology with clinical management of aggressive prostate cancer variants.
