Efstathios Kastritis is a prominent European authority on Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia and AL amyloidosis who has contributed extensively to understanding WM treatment with bortezomib-based regimens and rituximab combinations. He co-authored the European guidelines for WM management and has investigated the role of plasma cell biology in WM pathogenesis. His research also addresses IgM-related disorders and neuropathy management.
