Nora Disis is a pioneer in cancer vaccine development for prevention, with particular focus on how obesity impairs anti-tumor immune surveillance and how vaccination strategies can restore protective immunity. Her clinical trials of HER2-directed vaccines in high-risk patients have demonstrated durable immune responses that may prevent cancer initiation. She leads efforts to develop preventive immunotherapy approaches for obesity-associated malignancies.
