Dirk Busch

Dirk Busch at TU Munich has made foundational contributions to T cell manufacturing and adoptive cell therapy, developing techniques for rapid selection and expansion of antigen-specific T cells with defined phenotypes. His work on memory T cell subset selection for optimal persistence and his manufacturing innovations underlie multiple clinical-stage adoptive cell therapy programs in Germany and internationally.
