Dr. Debyani Chakravarty directs clinical bioinformatics at MSKCC and is a principal developer of OncoKB, the widely used precision oncology knowledge base that curates clinical significance of cancer gene alterations. OncoKB is a foundational resource for molecular tumor boards, providing evidence-based tier classifications for thousands of mutations. Her work on standardizing biomarker report interpretation has improved consistency in molecular tumor board recommendations.
