Davide Melisi at the University of Verona is an Italian pancreatic cancer investigator and early drug development expert. His research on TGF-beta pathway inhibition in pancreatic cancer stroma has generated novel combination hypotheses. He has led multiple first-in-human and phase II trials of novel agents in pancreatic cancer and is a principal investigator in ITMO (Italian Trials in Medical Oncology) cooperative group studies.
