Davide Bedognetti developed the Immunopheno Score and related RNA-based gene expression signatures predicting immunotherapy response by capturing intratumoral immune infiltration patterns. His discovery of the immune constant of rejection gene set represents a tissue-agnostic predictor of anti-tumor immune activity. He contributes to SITC consensus efforts on IO biomarker harmonization and validation across clinical trial datasets. Bedognetti's transcriptomic biomarker work integrates with clinical IO biomarker panels to provide multi-modal prediction of checkpoint inhibitor benefit.
