David Yankelevitz is a leader in quantitative CT assessment of lung nodules and co-founder of I-ELCAP. He developed volumetric and growth rate approaches to distinguish benign from malignant nodules. He has championed image-guided biopsy techniques in screen-detected disease. He collaborates closely with Mount Sinai's lung screening program.
