👥Biography 个人简介

David Roulois co-discovered the viral mimicry mechanism by which low-dose DNMT inhibitors reactivate ERVs to produce dsRNA that activates MDA5/MAVS innate immune signaling in cancer cells. This seminal finding explained how epigenetic therapy sensitizes tumors to immune checkpoint blockade and launched a new field of combination therapy approaches. His work continues to define the molecular mechanisms linking ERV reactivation to anti-tumor immunity.
