👥Biography 个人简介
David Morgan is a foundational cell cycle biologist whose research elucidated the molecular mechanisms governing cyclin-dependent kinase activation and inactivation during cell cycle progression. His work on CDK regulation through cyclin binding, phosphorylation, and CKI inhibitors provided fundamental understanding of how cancer cells dysregulate proliferative control. He characterized the roles of CDK1/cyclin B in mitotic entry and exit, and the regulatory networks governing cell cycle commitment at the G1/S checkpoint. His conceptual frameworks have guided development of CDK4/6 inhibitors and other cell cycle-targeting cancer therapeutics now in widespread clinical use.
