👥Biography 个人简介

David McConkey is a translational scientist who has made fundamental contributions to understanding the molecular subtypes of bladder cancer and their clinical implications. He contributed to establishing the luminal and basal bladder cancer classification system that predicts responses to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. His laboratory investigates cell signaling pathways including EGFR in bladder cancer and mechanisms of resistance to chemotherapy and targeted agents. He has led and contributed to multiple biomarker correlative studies within clinical trials that have refined patient selection for treatment.
