👥Biography 个人简介

David Lyden is a world leader in understanding how tumors systemically prepare distant organs for metastasis via extracellular vesicles. He discovered that tumor-derived exosomes display integrins that direct them to specific organ sites, determining the pattern of metastasis. His work on bone marrow-derived cell mobilization revealed how tumor exosomes reprogramme the systemic environment. He has translated these findings into exosome-based prognostic and predictive biomarkers.
