David Huntsman

David Huntsman at BC Cancer is a molecular pathologist who has made major contributions to the molecular pathology of gynecologic and GI cancers. He established the link between CDH1 germline mutations and hereditary diffuse gastric cancer, characterized ARID1A mutations in clear cell ovarian carcinoma, and led molecular classification of ovarian carcinoma subtypes. His work has improved diagnostic precision and identified therapeutic vulnerabilities in rare gynecologic cancer subtypes.
