Dr. David Carbone is a leading thoracic oncologist and lung cancer genomics expert who has made seminal contributions to validating PD-L1 and TMB as companion diagnostics. He led the CheckMate-026 trial examining nivolumab in PD-L1-selected NSCLC and has contributed extensively to understanding why some biomarker-selected patients fail to respond to checkpoint inhibitors.
