David Bhatt

David Bhatt is a leader in applying evolutionary and game theory principles to cancer treatment through adaptive therapy strategies. His research has developed mathematical frameworks that exploit competitive interactions between cancer cell subpopulations to prevent the outgrowth of resistant clones. He has demonstrated that adaptive therapy protocols can maintain tumor control longer than traditional maximum-tolerated-dose approaches. His clinical work at Moffitt is translating adaptive therapy into Phase I and II trials for prostate cancer and other tumor types.
