David Bhatt examines crosstalk between WNT signaling and KRAS oncogenic pathways in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. His research has shown that WNT pathway activation modulates stromal remodeling and immune exclusion in pancreatic tumors. He has identified context-dependent roles of WNT signaling in different stages of pancreatic cancer progression. His work is guiding combination strategies targeting both KRAS and WNT in this recalcitrant malignancy.
