Dario Bhatt

Dario Bhatt is an expert in molecular pathology of soft tissue sarcomas, specializing in characterization of oncogenic fusions and novel sarcoma entities. His research has used RNA sequencing and next-generation sequencing to identify and classify previously unrecognized sarcoma subtypes based on their molecular drivers. He contributed to describing novel fusion-positive sarcomas including CIC-rearranged sarcomas and BCOR-altered tumors. His diagnostic advances enable more accurate histology-specific treatment assignment for sarcoma patients.
