Dana Pe'er at MSK is a world authority on single-cell genomics and cancer cell state analysis. She has developed foundational computational tools for single-cell trajectory analysis (Wishbone), dimensionality reduction (PHATE), and multi-modal data integration. Her research decoding cancer cell state heterogeneity, plasticity, and the cellular composition of the tumor microenvironment at single-cell resolution has transformed understanding of cancer biology.
